When to Logout and When to Shut Down

Mondays

In the morning, turn both the base and monitor on by pressing the power buttons.

In the afternoon, log out by clicking the smiley face icon on the desktop. Do not shut down the computer. Turn off the monitor by pressing the power button.

Tuesday-Friday mornings

Turn the monitor on by pressing power button.

Tuesday-Thursday afternoons

Log out by clicking the smiley face icon on the desktop. Do not shut down the computer. Turn off the monitor by pressing the power button.

Friday afternoons

• Go to Start button
• Choose Shut Down
• Click on arrow and choose "Shut Down" and then click OK
• Turn off the monitor by pressing the power button.
